I started Trek Removals in 1997 with an old Ford Transit Luton Van, which I nicknamed Lady Bird.

The two of us would go to all corners of London, moving homes and businesses, and anything else Lady Bird could carry and I could lift. We all worked really hard and I can still remember every morning hearing my father's voice saying, "Do a job properly and people will recommend you to their friends." It drove me to the brink some mornings, but as I look back on it now, he was right, and my parents kept me going through those early, tough times.
