About the Business
For the first 2 years he helped build a successful car park business (see below) which had at one stage 8 car parks operating in Chelsea / West End / Fitzrovia parts of Central London. He continued to help with the strategic development of the car park business whilst starting, in 1998, to build a successful self-storage business. Angus was responsible for finding, negotiating, fitting out and running all aspects of the storage business with a total of five stores at major sites in Central London and the South East as well as locations within our managed car park portfolio - allowing additional revenue generation from underutilised space at these locations. Angus has been an active Member of the SSA (Self-storage Association of UK) having chaired the 'Smaller Operators Division' as well as sitting on the Board of Directors for 5 years and holding the role of Association Treasurer for 2 years (retired).
